Terms of service
Last updated: September 25, 2026
The service
Subila lets you create a private album for an event, share it with a link or QR code, receive photos and videos from guests, show them on a live screen and download them. By creating an account or uploading content you accept these terms and our privacy policy.
Accounts and hosts
You need an account and must be at least 18 to create events. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. As the host you decide who gets the album link, when uploads are open or closed and what content stays: you can delete any photo or video from your dashboard.
Guests
Anyone with the link or QR code can view the album and, if the host has enabled it, upload content without creating an account. By uploading you confirm you have the right to share it and accept that the host and other people with access to the album can view and download it.
Content
Uploaded content remains the property of its author. You grant us and the host a limited license to store, process and display it inside the album and make it available for download, solely to provide the service. You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, is sexually explicit or violent, harasses anyone or contains malicious software. We may remove content or close an album that breaks these rules. To report abuse, write to [email protected] with the album link.
Plans and limits
The Free plan allows up to 30 photos and videos, 500 MB in total and keeps content for 7 days. The Pro plan allows unlimited photos and videos up to 150 GB and keeps content for 6 months. Each file can be up to 200 MB. Limits apply per event and we may adjust them with advance notice; changes do not affect Pro events that are already active.
Payments
The Pro plan is a one-time payment per event, with no subscription. After paying you receive an access code that you redeem in the event settings to upgrade it to Pro. Prices are published in US dollars on subila.com and may change; the price you paid does not change for that event. Any taxes that apply in your country are added at checkout where applicable.
Refunds
If you did not use Subila at your event, we refund the full amount: write to [email protected] within 30 days after the event date. If the album already received guest uploads, we consider the service used and no refund applies, unless a failure on our side prevented you from using it.
Retention and download
When your plan window ends, the event content is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. It is your responsibility to download the originals before that date. Subila is not a long-term backup service.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service running without interruptions, but we provide it as is and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the affected event. We are not responsible for content uploaded by guests or for how the host uses the album.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with prior notice unless the breach is serious.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute is resolved before the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires, without prejudice to the consumer rights you may have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we will email hosts with an active account at least 15 days in advance. Continuing to use Subila after that date means you accept the new version.
